YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS: A large and chain car accident took place in Kotayk region due to the snow on the road. At about 17:40 around 48 kilometers of Yerevan-Sevan highway collided with a Toyota Camry 70 GD 077 driven by David Torosyan, Albert Sukisyan 33 BMW X5 with 33 OU 888, Mnatsakan Barseghyan 36 with an Opel 58 Ford with 990 DD 04, Aram Sgrnyan with Opel 35 Q 228, Narek Asatryan with 17 XP 700, Karen Mehrabyan with Nissan 71 PN 701, Arthur Martirosyan with Toyota 32 with 32 SD Khachatryan driven by Opel model number 36 CF 614 cars, a Mercedes driven by Hayk Harutyunyan, a 35 Series R 513, and a BMW by the Aaron Vardanyan 36 QM 807.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, 4 people were taken to different hospitals with injuries. The fire and rescue squad of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. Rescuers unplugged the cars, shut down some cars' gas cylinders and demarcated the area. Officers of the 2nd platoon of the 3rd Officer 3rd Battalion of the 2nd Battalion of Traffic Police arrived, headed by the commander of the platoon Arthur Petrosyan and the platoon commander Sargis Bagratyan.

On-site investigations were led by senior investigator Arthur Minasyan of the same battalion, who is preparing materials on the case. Police are identifying the injured.
